  • Kaspersky's new Total Security solution wants to help consumers protect their data

    Time: Dec. 13, 2019

In an effort to protect people from attacks by hackers, Kaspersky presented the 2020 version of security solutions at an event in New Delhi on Thursday.

Hackers change the way they attack. Previously, hackers had penetrated the user's PC, laptop or smartphone and assigned the device. When users are online, hackers now want to address users directly by stealing and abusing their data.

India has been one of the most attacked nations in the IoT space in recent years. Kasperkey, a cybersecurity and antivirus provider, expects these incidents to increase further in the coming years. In an effort to protect people against hacker attacks, Kaspersky today presented its 2020 security solution in Delhi.

In the event, Kaspersky's team explains how the types of threats have changed over the years. The company believes that hackers now aim to influence users by stealing and misusing their personal information instead of their device. As the types of threats evolve, Kaspersky is changing the way its solutions work. Until now, Kaspersky mainly sold device protection solutions, the company now wants to protect users and their data. And that is what the company wants with its 2020 solution called Kaspersky Internet Security Solution or Kaspersky Total Security Solution.

According to Kaspersky, the new security solution will help Total fight attacks such as bank fraud, phishing emails, e-commerce fraud and other online threats. With the new solution, Kaspersky aims to provide greater speed, improved security, superior performance and improved protection against exploiting vulnerabilities in popular programs such as Microsoft Office.

The Kaspersky Internet security solution or the global security solution also allows the software to combat network vulnerabilities such as the infamous EternalBlue used by the infamous WannaCry or SMBloris. These vulnerabilities allow malware to spread automatically over the network, infecting each PC in its path. "Good protection against such threats is essential," says Kaspersky.
