  • Dareu A918, Wireless Gaming Mouse at Affordable Prices

    Time: Sep. 16, 2020

The Dareu Gaming Accessory brand from China has just landed in the Indonesian market.

According to a review from Dareu's official online store, gaming mice cost around 400,000 IDR. This price is very affordable, it is also said cheap for this gaming accessory.

It is not surprising to see the screen of the Dareu A918. At first glance it looks like a common wireless mouse, but on the left side there are two more buttons and a DPI flight button setting on top.

The Dareu A918 is expected to offer a DPi performance between 400 and 1600 DPI. The available Fly button features an LED indicator that displays four colors for the four currently active preset DPI speeds.

The scroll wheel can be pressed in the middle to help configure the functions of the application or game that is being used. The build quality of this gaming mouse isn't bad, but it doesn't look like a gaming mouse.

The material uses plastic with a weight that is neither too light nor too heavy. The back cover with the Dareu logo can be opened to access the USB port and the battery.

The battery used is one for AA batteries. Dareu claims that the battery can last up to 260 hours. No RGB LEDs make it look very normal, but it does save battery life.

There is an on / off switch on the bottom or on the optical sensor of the Dareu A918 gaming mouse. USB port that works instantly when connected to a laptop or PC with the mouse on. The connectivity provided uses 2.4 GHz frequency technology.

The design of the Dareu A918 is not actually specific to gamers as the grip pattern shown is normal. This can be both a disadvantage and an advantage, as it allows amateur or non-expert gamers to have their first experience testing a gaming mouse.

In terms of features here, the Dareu A918 is quite complete, having at least two additional buttons on the left and a preset DPI for the flight buttons for FPS games. Unfortunately, this gaming mouse does not support customization software or macro button function.

This allows you to configure the functions of each key in the game. However, arrangements can also be made via a dedicated driver that can be downloaded from the Dareu Indonesia website. These settings take the form of DPI settings and macro functions.

Although the Dareu A918 is made of plastic, it is very comfortable to use, although it fits, because it is neither heavy nor light. Pointer movement performance doesn't add input lag either, the sensor uses PixArt PAW 3335.

Users who want the performance of a gaming mouse but still want to use a mouse for work should consider the Dareu A918. Although it does not imply the sensation of playing from this device.
